Norman, Hubbard & Associates came into being in 1991 when a certified Real Estate Appraiser and company owner from the San Francisco bay area (that’s me!) met a New York Marketing Executive (that’s my wife, Carol) and decided to start a family and a new business near the Big Apple. Interest rates were high and the mortgage industry was run by “old school ties,” but enough lenders appreciated top-notch, fast service to get our new small business established. And as we continued to consistently deliver quality appraisals faster than anyone expected, along with personalized, over-the-top service, we continued to expand.
Having appraised for over 30 years, I can tell you that I’ve seen it all, or at least it seems like I have. I have always enjoyed the real challenges in this trade such as those “impossible” properties that most would shy away from – the luxury house build over an old invisible land fill or the scenic island property that no cars or trucks can reach. And I’ve also enjoyed sharing what I’ve learned with the professional Real Estate Appraisers who work with me across the country.
